About US
FabricPlast is a Ghanaian youth led social enterprise focuses on the empowerment of unemployed women and youths by training them on effective ways to earn income from recycling plastic and textile waste. We weave the wastes into eco-friendly products. We also sensitize and advocate for a clean environment and climate sustainability.
FabricPlast is an initiative that was created in response to a global call for environmental safety. We are into helping the fight against climate change and for a sustainable environment by collecting and recycling single use plastics and textile wastes from the environment and landfills through weaving and then converting it into eco-friendly products such as bags, footwear among others, we also go on sanitization and advocacy campaign in schools, market places and schools and we offer training and employment opportunities for the women and youth.
Our long term vision is to clean, preserve, create a healthy environment and a sustainable world without plastic and textile wastes .We hope to create employment opportunities for not less than 100 youth and women in the next ten years and also to make Ghana a cleaner country.
Our business aims to address the pressing issues of plastic pollution and youth unemployment by offering beautiful, durable eco-friendly backpacks made from single-use plastics. Our target customers include students, NGOs, and foundations supporting underprivileged individuals.
